We offer lenses without refraction (1.5 refractive index), with single refraction (1.6 refractive index and 100% UV protection) and double refraction (1.67 refractive index and 100% UV protection).

Recommendations

  • For lenses with low powers (-2.0 - 4.5 and +2.0 - +4.0) we recommend a thinned (refractive index 1.6) or unthinned lens.
  • Double gain is recommended for intensities (-4.0 - 7.0 or +3.5 - +5.5)

In addition to being lighter and thinner, double and triple thinned lenses offer 100% UV protection. However, a double-thinned lens is not optically superior to a single-thinned lens. We therefore recommend that you choose a thinner lens according to your strengths.

Ordering and delivery conditions

General information

Oy Finnsusp Ab, business ID: 0303708-7 , address: Pääskykalliontie 5, 21420 Lieto; sells products to companies and adult private persons in the EU area via Linssikauppa.fi online store. These terms and conditions apply to orders placed in our online shop and to similar deliveries.

These terms and conditions are valid from 13.5.2025. We may change these terms unilaterally if necessary, so please check our terms in advance each time you order products from our online shop.


Products and product prices

The characteristics and prices of the products in the online shop are shown in the product description of each product. We reserve the right to change prices and delivery charges, so please check the prices in your shopping cart before placing an order. The prices of the products include taxes, which will be indicated in the shopping cart and in the order confirmation.


Discounts

Linssikauppa.fi offers promotions and discounts to its customers from time to time. The duration of the promotions, the amount of the discounts and any conditions will be announced in connection with the promotion. Discounts cannot be combined with other offers unless otherwise stated.

Linssikauppa has the right to cancel the order and refund the customer’s payment if it turns out that the customer has paid too little or too much of the price of the product due to a technical or other error. In such a situation, the customer will be contacted and offered the opportunity to renew the order at the correct price.


Delivery charges

Any delivery costs that may be charged for an order depend on the product itself (e.g. weight, packaging) and the delivery method chosen. Any delivery charges will be automatically added to the total amount of the order. You can see the delivery charges (if any) that will be applied to your order in your shopping cart before you accept the order.


Ordering and contract

You can order products on our online shop website by adding them to your shopping cart, confirming your order and paying for the contents of your shopping cart in the payment service. When ordering from our online store, you are required to have read and agreed to our current delivery terms and conditions. You understand that your order, once accepted and confirmed by us, is binding, except to the extent that the right of withdrawal is mentioned below, and creates a contract with these terms of delivery between us.

Your subscription is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. We do not guarantee the delivery of your order or the retention of your order details after the expiry date.

Walley Invoice/Payment on account

Flexibility and choice – pay in one lump sum or in instalments, at the pace of your choice

An invoice and an account credit give you more time to pay for your online purchases. Using them, you can wait for your order to arrive in peace before paying for it. You can pay in one lump sum by invoice or in smaller instalments with an overdraft, allowing you to pay the amount that suits you best each month, spread over a period of up to 36 months.

Free payment time with your bill – safe and easy transactions

The invoice always gives you 45 days interest-free payment for your online purchases. The long payment period allows you to check your purchase and, if necessary, return it before the invoice is due.

To take advantage of the payment period, you need a positive credit decision, which is easy to apply for at the time of purchase. You can apply if you are at least 18 years old, have a Finnish personal identity code and a permanent, official home address in Finland. Your credit history will also be checked against Bisnode Finland Oy’s register.

The payment method can be used for purchases up to €5 000.

Once you have received a positive credit decision and confirmed your purchase, you will receive an invoice for your purchase by email. If you wish to pay your bill in smaller instalments and with a payment period that suits you better (1-36 months), you must enter into a revolving credit agreement with Collector Bank AB by logging in to MySite at my.walley.fi. When you sign a credit agreement, you will be granted a credit limit, which will be available for future purchases in accordance with the terms and conditions of the credit.

If you have a valid credit agreement, you only have to pay the minimum amount stated on the invoice you receive by the due date, but you can pay more if you wish. You will then receive a monthly statement by email until the credit is paid in full. If you wish, you can also reduce your credit in instalments above the minimum amount stated on your statement.

Cost of credit and example of credit: Linssikauppa online shop is subject to promotional conditions, with an overdraft interest rate of 19.2% expressed as a nominal annual interest rate and a monthly fee of €2.95 per month (€3.80 on the first invoice). If the credit limit granted is €1,000 and it is used in full for purchases made in the Linssikauppa online shop and the credit is repaid within 36 months, the annual percentage rate of charge is 28.6%, the total cost of the credit is €403, the total amount to be paid is €1,403 and the number of instalments is 36. Late payments will be subject to the legal reminder and collection fees, as well as interest for the period of delay.

Order and payment confirmation

After a successful order, an order confirmation email will be sent to your email address, so please provide your email address when you place your order. The order confirmation will also confirm the payment method used.

If for some unexpected reason we are unable to confirm your order, we will notify you by email as soon as possible.


Delivery method

We will deliver your order using one of the delivery methods listed on our website, which you choose when placing your order.


Delivery time

Our most common delivery times in Finland (excluding Åland) are around 7-10 days, depending on the order and delivery method. Receive notifications of the progress of your order by email. If you do not receive a notification after placing your order, please check your email spam folder.


Condition of the frame

Our customer service will carry out a condition check on the frames when they arrive at our premises. A decision is made on the suitability of the frame for the lens. Our customer service will contact the customer if the frame is not suitable for lens fitting.

Frame breakage

If the frame is broken during the lensing process, despite the condition check, our customer service will agree on a compensation with the customer.


Right of withdrawal and return

eyeglass lenses

Can I cancel or return an order for eyeglass lenses?
There is no legal right to cancel or return eyeglass lenses, as they are individually manufactured according to the customer’s order and vision. We offer a limited right of withdrawal in certain circumstances.

Why can’t returns always be made?
The right of withdrawal and return under the Finnish Consumer Protection Act does not apply to products that are manufactured or modified according to the customer’s requirements or personal needs. Such products include, for example, individually manufactured eyeglass lenses that cannot be resold.

Satisfaction guarantee
Although there is no actual right of return, we offer a guarantee for eyeglass lenses. satisfaction guarantee. If you are not satisfied with the quality of the lenses, we will make new lenses of the same price free of charge. If you want to change to more expensive lenses, you only pay the difference in price.

Possibility of cancellation in certain situations

In certain situations, we offer the customer the possibility to cancel the order of the eyeglass lenses. Cancellations will be charged a cancellation fee to cover delivery and handling costs. Cancellation conditions are detailed below.

Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes. Consumer customers have a 14-day cancellation and return period for orders , counting from the date of receipt of the product or the last batch of products.

Cancellation and refund costs

We will charge you 10€ (incl. VAT) for shipping and handling for returnable orders. The charges will be deducted from the payment of the original order.


Shipment check, error and problems

Please check the delivery as soon as you receive it. If the product is lost or damaged in transit, or otherwise does not match your order or is faulty, please notify our Customer Service team as soon as possible and within 14 days at the latest, and we will agree how to rectify the fault. In consumer transactions, we comply with the mandatory consumer protection law provisions on liability for defects.


Communication and marketing messages

Our customer service may contact the customer on matters related to the order. We may send review or feedback surveys by e-mail to customers who have ordered from our online shop. The subscriber can subscribe to our newsletter separately and cancel the subscription afterwards if they wish. Please read our privacy policy.

We aim to resolve any disputes regarding your order by agreement in the first instance, so please contact our Customer Service team in the first instance to settle the matter.

If a dispute over a commercial contract cannot be resolved by negotiation between the parties, the consumer can refer the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board (www.kuluttajariita.fi).
